The Best Time for the Everest Base Camp Trek with Helicopter Return
Spring season (March-May)
The spring months of March-May is the best time for the Everest Base Camp Helicopter return trek. The months provide trekkers with a great view of the snow-capped mountains all along the trail with clear blue skies.
The spring months are when the rhododendron flower blooms all over the hills along the trail. The temperatures are moderate, making for a pleasant trekking experience. The pre-monsoon period also means that there are no heavy rainfalls during the trek and no clouds covering up the sky.
Autumn (September to December)

The Trekking Route
An adventurous flight takes you to Lukla from Kathmandu. After landing in Lukla airport, your trekking journey commences. Our trail passes through the lush alpine forests and small settlements of Jorsale and Monjo to arrive at Namche Bazaar.
The trekkers need to go through acclimatization at Namche. You will get a chance to rest, and your body will adapt to the high elevations of the Himalayan settlements. The trail leads us to the villages of Tengboche and Dingboche, passing through the Sherpa settlements and experience the Buddhist heritage and Tibetan lifestyle.
Dingboche is where we acclimatize for the second time. We pass through the village of Lobuche from where er make a final ascent to arrive at the surreal atmosphere of the Everest Base Camp. We also pass through the highest point of the trek Kala Patthar at 5555m and return to Gorak Shep.
The scenic helicopter ride takes us to Lukla and Kathmandu overlooking the entire Everest region and the trekking trails. The Heli shuttle ride is a once in a lifetime experience, and the pristine white snow-capped mountains look enthralling from the top.
